The before and after shot of this bedroom in Jeffrey Bilhuber's Nantucket cottage shown in Architectural Digest, made me stop and take notice.

I love what he did with the unassuming nook on the far wall. Making it into a vanity was such a clever idea and would surely be the most enjoyable element of the room (if it were mine!). Hanging a mirror on chains to fit the space is so practical, yet something I would have never thought of, and just imagine the great light you would have when putting on makeup!
