When you blend the romance of a Jane Austen novel's countryside garden and a world class research facility for the preservation of trees you get the Morton Arboretum. 
Growing up, I enjoyed this outdoor museum as a playground and later for its beauty. Now, I also value its important environmental contributions and educational facilities.
