As the title of this blog suggests, I love both the girly and the green. I used those sentiments as a guide when choosing the decor elements of our celebration.
To compliment our venue and capture our personal style, we are aiming to create a party that feels organically elegant. These are photos I used as inspiration:

For our flowers, I'm drawn to a mix of formal and informal blooms and loose arangements so these are the photos I sent to the florist as inspiration:

Eco Elements:
- We sourced vintage mason jars and medicine bottles from flea markets and antique stores which will hold our centerpieces (etsy and ebay are also great resources)
- Where possible, I asked my florist to use local and seasonal flowers.
- We are mixing aromatic herbs into flower arrangements, bouquets and decor
- We are planning to repurpose or recycle our decor elements; Vintage Glam Flea Market, Recycle Your Wedding, Bride to Bride Boutique and Bravo Bride all offer ways to buy and sell to other brides. This is a perfect way to give a second life to the 100 votives you used at the reception or the aisle runner you can't use again.
