A renewed sense of green resolve was a pleasant side effect of my weekend trip to Goat Island Marine reserve. Snorkeling among the sparkling waves and golden hued kelp reminded me of why I started this blog. 
On our way north from Auckland, we stopped at one of my all time favorite markets in Matakana; this is the cutest reminder to recycle that I’ve ever seen:
